The longest bridge from glass in the world

More than 3,000 Chinese curiosities attended the inauguration of the longest bridge in the world, from glass.

Situated in the picturesque area of Hongyagu, in Pingshan County, in northern China’s Hebei province, it offers a unique geographic panorama with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, natural waterfalls, ancient cities and temples, which people can see from one 218 meters high in the sky, with nothing between them and wonderful sights.

The visitors themselves say everything is very impressive and they do not regret why they have traveled so much to walk to see the rare bridge that stands by them at the top of the world.

The glass bridge is designed to hold up to 3,000 people. To guarantee the safety of tourists, only 600 are accepted in the queue. Over one thousand four-centimeter thick glass tiles have been laid on the 488-meter-long bridge, which, according to engineers’ calculations, can withstand a strong wind or even a six-year earthquake.
